History of the hotel and restaurant
The owners, the heart and the spirit of the hotel, is the family Pazderka. The head and soul of the whole company is the founding father 🙂 and his wife, son and daughter work closely with him. Both parents are Graduates of the Hotel High School in Mariánské Lázně. Svatopluk comes from a wine family from South Moravia and Štěpánka from a gastronomy family from Eastern Bohemia. Since graduation, the father has worked at GH Pupp as a maitre de hotel in a French restaurant and has successfully participated in several national competitions.
And how did it all start?
Nineties
In 1990, we auctioned off in a small privatization the Poultry Grill and started a private business. Subsequently, we rented non-residential premises in the next house and in 1992 opened a restaurant. In 1994 we managed to buy the whole building and we started with a complete reconstruction into a hotel.
The turn of the millennium
We managed the first phase and the opening of part of the hotel in 1997. We completed the accommodation part in 2000. In the following years, the construction of a swimming pool, wellness and underground garages followed. In 2017, we completed the reconstruction of another related building into family apartments No. 35.
And what does the hotel look like today?
For our guests we have prepared 20 comfortably furnished double rooms and 2 family apartments. The hotel has a swimming pool, wellness and especially the underground hotel garage. The advantage of the hotel is a family atmosphere and friendly staff at a professional level. For larger families with children, there is an annex with apartments for up to a family of 6. Even guests of the apartments can use the services of the hotel – swimming pool, wellness, garage.
Our restaurant, our pride
The restaurant has a concept of international cuisine, exclusively with fresh ingredients. Thanks to the fact that the father is also a trained chef with many years of experience and understands his field 100%, he compiles a menu and recipes. He is also a wine connoisseur and together with his son he provides not only domestic production from the family winery of his nephew from Bořetice, but also wines from all over the world. The level of the restaurant is evidenced by many awards and evaluations not only of domestic clients, but also of world stars who were our guests on the occasion of the festival.
